To get the most out of your beeswax candle, you need to know this:

1. Wicks are pre-trimmed for first burn.
2. For future lightings, ensure the wick remains at 1/4 inch
3. Burn 2–4 hours at a time to maintain an even melt and maximize burn life (up to ~80 hours depending on size)
4. Tunneling may occur with beeswax, but allow a full melt pool on the first burn helps prevent it.
5. Expect a naturally clean burn with minimal soot. If a white film (bloom) appears on the wax, simply wipe with a soft cloth.
6. For jar candles: place on a heat-safe surface and avoid drafts for an even burn.
7. For "free-standing" candles (pillars/tapers): always use a stable, heat-safe holder or tray to catch natural wax drips
8. Never leave a burning candle unattended
