First Introduce Your Candle To Your Space

You don’t get to know your candle’s true qualities until the first burn. Did you know that candles have a “memory?”

The first burn sets the tone for how it melts going forward. You want the wax to melt 2 to 3 hours, evenly across the entire surface, edge to edge, before extinguishing. If you don’t, you can risk tunneling (wax burning straight down the center), reduced scent performance, and overall lifespan.

Get The Most Out Of Your Candle:

MAKE THE FIRST BURN

Let the wax melt edge to edge, evenly across the surface. Allow proper cooling after extinguishing.

TRIM THE WICK

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use. Helps control flame height and buildup.

ABIDE BY BURN TIME

Burn for 2 to 4 hours at a time. Never exceed more than recommended burn time.

SAFETY COMES FIRST

Never leave a burning candle unattended, especially around children. Be mindful on heat-safe surface and surroundings.

Don't Blow The Flames, Snuff It.

A clean finish sets up a cleaner relight.

Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flames or gently dip the wick into the melted wax and straighten it back up. This method minimizes smoke and prevents hot wax from splattering. While blowing out a candle may seem harmless, it often creates excess smoke, pushes soot into the air, and can cause the wick to shift or bend, leading to uneven burns later.
